World champion Luke Littler continued his impressive run at the World Grand Prix, dismantling defending champion Mike De Decker 3-0 in a commanding performance at the Mattioli Arena on Thursday evening.

Littler, just 18 years old, sealed a comprehensive victory with a stunning 170 checkout, capitalizing on De Decker's struggles on the outer ring, where he missed 41 doubles in 11 legs.

The young champion's win sets up a highly anticipated quarter-final clash with Gerwyn Price, who also secured a 3-0 victory over Josh Rock. Price equaled the highest set average of the tournament with 109.98, showcasing his exceptional form.

In their post-match interviews, Littler described his win over De Decker as "boring," citing his opponent's subpar performance. "Mike didn't play his best, so I had to jump on it and lead early," Littler said. "This tournament is brutal, but I had to do my job."

Littler also expressed his confidence ahead of his quarter-final encounter with Price, stating that he is "not worried" about facing the Welsh darts star. "If my A-game is there, I win – it's that simple," Littler asserted.

Meanwhile, Price is eager to test his skills against the young world champion, saying, "I really wanted to have a game against Luke [Littler]. I am playing well enough, and I need to up my scoring game to put him under pressure."

The World Grand Prix quarter-finals will be broadcast live on Sky Sports+ and Sky Sports Main Event from 7 pm on Friday, with Littler and Price set to face off in a highly anticipated showdown.
