Portuguese Midfielder Vasco Moreira Dreams of Playing for Manchester United

Vasco Moreira, a 24-year-old midfielder currently playing for Liga Portugal 2 side Felgueiras, has recently revealed his dream of stepping onto the iconic Old Trafford pitch.

In an interview with Record, Moreira shared his ambitions, stating, "I'd like to face the best teams. Whether it's in the Spanish championship or at Manchester United, I want to experience the energy of Old Trafford. It’s a stage that has a certain something."

Moreira, who joined Felgueiras from Braga B in 2023, made 34 appearances last season, helping his team secure a ninth-place finish in Portugal's second tier. Despite his relatively recent entry into senior football, the midfielder has set his sights on reaching the highest levels of the sport.

"I have some teams that I would like to belong to," he added. "But I think that depends on me. Jumping from Portugal to a big club in Europe would be difficult, but I don’t put restrictions on myself. I’m currently tied to Felgueiras, but in football, things change fast. I want to test myself at a high level, whether it’s next year or in four years."

While Moreira’s dream of playing for Manchester United may still be a distant goal, his determination and passion highlight the enduring allure of the club.
