Meanwhile, Arsenal is also eyeing a move for Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze, who has a £68 million release clause. The Gunners are reportedly "considering hijacking" Tottenham's pursuit of the England international. Sources indicate that Eze is "very happy" with Arsenal's offer, and personal terms are not expected to be an issue.

Reporter Fraser Fletcher of TEAMtalk revealed that Eze’s "response has been encouraging" to Arsenal, though Tottenham remains a "major threat" in the race for his signature. The 26-year-old attacking midfielder could provide Mikel Arteta’s side with additional creativity and depth in midfield.
